Friendly, sociable, clean flat in central location

This room is very bright being on the second floor. It measures 13' (3. 96m) by 9'6" (2. 90m). It is furnished with a double bed with quality mattress, a double-door white wardrobe with mirrors, a five drawer chest, two wall shelves and a comfy armchair. There is a wooden laminated floor, double radiator and double glazed window with roller blind.

There is a good sized kitchen with lots of cupboard space. It is fully furnished with large fridge freezer, gas cooker, washing machine, microwave etc. Next to the kitchen is the dining area with table and four chairs. There is an efficient gas combi boiler with full central heating and double glazing throughout the flat so everyone is warm.

It is just a few minutes to Southwark tube and about a ten minute walk (0. 6 miles) to Blackfrairs Bridge and the City.

Council tax, water, electricity and broadband internet are included in the rent. You will be sharing gas with other tenants which is around £25 per month per person.

The contract is very flexible with only one month's notice if you need to leave. There is notice at all needed if you want to swap to one of my other flats or houses. The flat is rented directly by me, the landlord, so there are no nightmares with useless agencies or extra fees. I have been a landlord for over thirty years and it is my full time occupation so I can respond quickly to your needs.

Upon payment, your deposit is immediately protected by the Government Scheme, MyDeposits. You will be issued with a signed certificate which will give you peace of mind. If I run off to South America with some pretty girl (unlikely but I can dream!) or get run over by a bus (more likely but hopefully not), you will be able to get your deposit back. I always return deposits quickly and efficiently in full as soon as the keys are returned. All you need to do is give me one month’s notice and clean your room on departure.
