The flat itself is top-floor with a private balcony overlooking Canary Wharf and Central London, sunsets here are the real bonus. The balcony is small, but perfect for a morning coffee or opening up the living room on a warm day. Open-plan living room, modern kitchen with all appliances, washing machine, and bike storage on the ground floor. Tesco Express and Anytime Fitness are right downstairs, plus Roman Road’s shops and markets are around the corner. Victoria park is a 10 min walk away.
Transport links are good: Bow Road & Bow Church (10–15 min walk), Mile End (15 min), Hackney Wick (20 min). The 8 Bus stop is 5 minute walk away.
Move Time: Looking around late December 2026 or early Janurary 2027. Can be flexibile and work with you.
About me: My name is Shak, I’m the current main tenant. I am originally from California, and have been in London for 5 years. I love keeping a clean, peaceful home but also the kind of place where friends can overlap over dinner, wine, tea. I am friends with many people in the neighborhood. I also travel routinely, so semi-regularly you’ll have the place to yourself. I’m social, love my jungle of plants (extra points if you’ll help keep them alive when I’m away!), and enjoy making the flat a welcoming recharge space. I value community building. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly household.
Rent is £1,100 + £150 bills estimate (total £1,250). A super chill landlord. Building is decently kept, with good neighbors.(Council tax band D).
