Description
We're looking for someone new to join us in our lovely house in Bow.
Medium-sized double with a view of the back garden. It has a double bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers.
£1,015 pcm + bills (currently £160 per person per month, council tax band E)
HOUSEMATES: You'll be living with:
o Lucy - 36-year old queer woman. I work as an occupational therapist, so I tend to be pretty early to bed through the week, and do a mixture of working from home and out in Greenwich. At the weekends I enjoy watching the cycling, being outdoors as much as possible, and an occasional night out dancing until dawn.
o Alex – Also 36, ally. Works from home Monday to Friday supporting the delivery of free debt advice in London. Variable sleep pattern, enjoys cooking, television, sports and music.
We sometimes have friends or partners to stay and occasionally enjoy hosting a birthday party or pre-drinks, but are more likely to be cooking a meal together or binging a TV series.
Smoking in the garden only.
Pets considered.
HOUSE: It’s a lovely Victorian house with high ceilings, heritage wooden floors and:
o Large living/dining room
o Kitchen with breakfast bar and dishwasher
o 2 bathrooms – one upstairs with a shower and another downstairs with a bath
o Big sunny garden (bonus if you’re more green fingered than we are!)
LOCATION:
o 5 mins walk to Bow Church DLR (under 10 min ride to Stratford or Canary Wharf)
o 8 mins walk to Bow Road underground (District line; Hammersmith and City line; one stop to Mile End for the Central line)
o Lots of bus routes from the end of the street
o Directly opposite a corner shop, big Nisa at the end of the street, 5 mins to a 24 hour Asda
o 3 mins walk to Grove Hall park, 10 to Roman road with lots of independent shops and cafes, 15 to Victoria park, 30 to Hackney Wick, and plenty of canals to explore along the way
TENANCY & LANDLORD: We’ve lived here for several years, currently on a rolling contract and agreed a slight rent increase this summer, so hopefully there shouldn’t be any more increase any time soon!
*Available from the second half of October, date fairly flexible*
If you're interested, drop us a message telling us a little about yourself and when you're hoping to move 😊
