I have a double room available in a two-bedroom flat in E3, ideally located near Victoria Park, Mile End and Bow, available from 2 December 2026.

The room and costs

* Rent: £1,100 per month
* Deposit: £1,269.23, subject to the applicable tenancy arrangements
* Bills: approximately £100 per person in summer and £200 in winter, depending on usage
* Council tax: Band C, currently £1,633.58 per year for the property

I’ll clarify the exact bill split and council tax contribution with prospective housemates before any agreement is made.

About the flat and me

You’d be sharing with me, Rabia. I’m a fashion designer and founder of CI W EN, and I work from home.

I’m looking for someone who values a calm, clean and respectful home. This is a home rather than simply a place to sleep, so consideration for shared spaces, communication and each other’s routines matters to me.

A creative background would be lovely, but it isn’t essential. The most important things are that you’re considerate, tidy, financially reliable and comfortable sharing a home with someone who works from it.

Location

The flat is well placed for Victoria Park, Mile End and Bow, with easy access to the park, local cafés, weekend markets and Hackney Wick.

Mile End station provides Central, District and Hammersmith & City line connections. Bow Road and Bow Church stations are also nearby, offering further Underground and DLR links.
