Sadly I need to move out of my lovely flat share & I am looking for someone to replace me. You will be moving in with an amazing couple – Matt & Jess – who are both in their early 30s. They are both very friendly, fun, considerate & generally just fantastic to live with. They're very chilled. And I've never felt like a third wheel!
We are right in the middle of Brixton with Pop Brixton & the markets just around the corner. Transport is so easy with Brixton underground (Victoria) a 6 min walk or you can walk to Clapham North (Northern) in less than 20 mins. There are also many great bus connections taking you all over London. Brockwell Park, which is beautiful, is a 10-15min walk away too.
The 2 bedroom flat is modern and on the 5th floor of a secure complex with a lift. The living area is a large open plan space with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table & lounge area. The flat also benefits from a massive private balcony.
The room is a good sized double that comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, drawers and a bedside table. I currently have my own furniture in the room and as you can see in the photos it is a pretty decent sized room - I have also managed to comfortably fit a desk, chair, an extra wardrobe and clothes rails.
You also get sole use of the main bathroom in the flat. Matt and Jess have their own ensuite so the main bathroom is all yours. The bathroom has a shower over bath and plenty of space for storage if needed.
Bills are not included in the rent but work out approx. £135 per month – which includes a cleaner who comes every fortnight.
You would be taking over the current tenancy which runs through until mid-May 2020 with the option to extend for another year at that point. I want to move out by mid November, but I am flexible with dates if you need the room earlier.
The tenancy is direct with the property management and you will need to go through standard reference process. As you will be taking over the tenancy from me once everything is sorted and agreement signed you will need to pay your share of the deposit to me. Deposit amount is £1275.
