Double en-suite in friendly Brixton flat

Hi there

Unfortunately our flat mate Matej is moving out so we will have a room available in our nice flat in Brixton.

The Room

The room is a large double en-suite on the first floor. It comes furnished with a bed, desk, chair, bedside table, and chest of drawers. The en-suite has a stand-in shower. There’s plenty of room to comfortably work from home.

The Flat

The flat is split over 3 floors. Kitchen/living room on the ground floor, 4 bedrooms and a shared bathroom (shared between the other 3 rooms) split over the top 2 floors. The property has a massive garden shared with the downstairs tenant (but they barely use it tbh). Bills aren’t included, but cost £105 per month (includes gas, electricity, council tax, water, and fibre broadband).

Location

Located on a quiet street in Brixton, roughly 10 minute walk to both Brixton tube station, and Loughborough Junction station. Brixton Village Market is a less than 5 minute walk away and has loads of amazing restaurants and shops, and Brixton high street has lots of bars and shops. Big Sainsbury’s, Tesco, and Lidl all in walking distance and plenty of smaller corner shops around too.

About Us

You’ll be living with Hugo, Dan, and Ciarán. Hugo and Dan have been friends since uni, Ciarán moved over from Ireland in 2022. The three of us have been living together since March 2023 and get on really well, we hang out together in the evenings watching crappy TV, we have our own social lives but do go on nights out together too. We all work in science/software, Dan works in a lab every day, Ciarán and Hugo do a mix of office work and WFH.

The flat has a fairly chill, friendly vibe and we’re hoping to keep that going with our new flat mate.

We’re planning on holding viewings this week, official move in date is 5th November but can be sooner if needed.
