Large semi-furnished double room to rent in the heart of Brixton from 1st November.
I'm moving back to Australia soon, which means I sadly have to leave my flat-share on Electric Avenue in Brixton! Looking for somebody to take over my beautiful upstairs room.
Rent is £941 per month, not including bills. Monthly expenses are shared between housemates - around £50-100 each per month (internet, council tax, water, power). Bond is £952.
ABOUT THE FLAT
The place is situated super conveniently on Electric Avenue (middle of Brixton Market), ideally located 1 minute walk from Brixton tube station and 1 minute from major Brixton bus stops. Place is surrounded by amazing food and nightlife options, with plenty of access to main services and stores only a 1-2min walk away (pharmacy, shops, fresh food markets).
The flat is two storeys, with tons of natural light and loads of shared living space. The flat is bright, spacious and fully furnished, consisting of a large living room and separate kitchen, 2 shared bathrooms and the 3 other bedrooms.
The room is the largest in the flat and located upstairs, meaning there is loads of privacy. It comes with a double bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers - extra furniture is my own, which I'm happy to negotiate for sale! As per the photos, the room is super large with beautiful views, and can accommodate anyone looking to WFH as well, or for those who just want some extra personal space.
HOUSEMATES
The flat is a social and laidback flat share, with two Australian boys and one English fella, all in their late 20’s and all professionals working full-time. The flatmates are all very kind and friendly, respectful of personal space but often spending time together, regularly cooking meals for each other or popping down to the park or pub for a pint. Such a great home atmosphere with plenty of adventures on the doorstep - I'm sad to be leaving my close mates behind!
Move in available from 1st of November - you'll be taking over my spot on the lease, which is up for renewal in February, however housemates are planning to stay so you have the option to stick around further. Drop me a line if you have any questions or if you're interested in viewing the place at all!
