The maisonette is a 3 bed Flat on a listed estate, on two floors. This bedroom is a double with a desk/dressing table, chest of drawers and cupboard. Really sunny comfortable room, with access to a little balcony over looking the estate. My house is arty, full of treasures but stylish. There is a large dining kitchen which is where we hang out mostly. There is a private garden as well as communal garden for those sunny London evenings. You would be sharing with myself and my 13 year old daughter, my two cats and the tortoise when he comes out of hibernation! We have a cleaner every fortnight. Only yes to smoker as you could smoke on balcony, not in the room .
Brixton is a lively, diverse neighbourhood, but the flat is surprisingly quiet set back. The estate is really nice lots of family a little dogs on the lawn. It is literally 3 mins from Brixton Tube on the Victoria Line, less than half hour ANYWHERE in zone 2. The Brixton over ground is a minute away as well and Brixton Road has millions of buses. The nearest supermarket is a brand new M&S Foodhall, but there is Tescos and Lidle and a few Sainsburys also. There is also Brixton Market which is a great place to shop. 5 mins to the Iconic Ritzy Cinema and Brixton Academy. loads of restaurants and nice bars. 15 Minute walk to Brockwell Park and 20 minuets to Clapham Common. In between Clapham and Brixton. Really well positioned . Female preferred. Can negotiate Mon-Fri or price per month. Shorter lets preferred.
