Description

Hi all,

One of our current flatmates is moving out, so we’re looking for someone to take her place.

The room up for grabs is a fairly spacious double – fully furnished with a bed, mattress, wardrobe and chest of drawers. It’s the second biggest in the flat, facing the back of the building (so blissfully away from the noise of the main street). You’ll be on the first floor, right by me, the living room, and the downstairs bathroom.

The flat itself is a 4-bed maisonette with a generous terrace that overlooks the train station and city skyline – perfect for a few drinks with friends when the mood strikes. We only moved in recently, so we’re still adding finishing touches, but the open-plan lounge/kitchen already makes for a very social space.

Location perks:
• 5 seconds from a corner shop (yes, seconds)
• 2 minutes to Brixton Village
• 6 minutes to Brixton train station
• 7 minutes to Brixton tube
• 10 minutes to Loughborough Junction
• Plus plenty of bus stops nearby.

Being in central Brixton means everything else is within a 10–13 minute walk – bars, clubs, gyms, rooftop saunas (yes, that’s a thing) and more.

About us:
We’re all 24 and working professionals.
• I’m in law (Holborn), usually in the office five days a week, and I also volunteer as a magistrate.
• Erica works in property development (Mayfair).
• Tinca’s in tech (Paddington).

Erica and I go way back to first year of uni, Tinca we met on SpareRoom. We’re a social flat but also busy with work, so we like to balance things – dinners, TV, or an occasional pint/night out, as well as flat events like theatre, comedy, festivals, or whatever London has to offer.

Bonus flatmate:
We also have a secret(ish) 4th tenant: Nora, my 3-year-old Ragdoll cat. I got her during my undergrad at Glasgow Uni. She’s very chilled and spends most of her day recharging her batteries… so she can sleep some more.

Bills;
Still sorting this out as we have moved in recently. My current estimate is around £65pp without council tax- so likely below £100 pp for the summer/autumn months.

About you:
Honestly, we’re a pretty easy-going flat. As long as you’re reasonably clean and tidy, not a genuine crackhead, and up for being a friend who would like to do occasional activities with the flat and chill in the living room every so often rather – we’d love to hear from you!

Tenancy start date:
13th September- but we may have some flexibility.

If you’re interested let me know and we can have a quick chat and book you in fire a physical viewing/virtual viewing.
