Bright double room in Brixton

We have a room opening up in our 3-bed flat on 19th July and we’re looking for a kind, laid-back person to move in.

The room is a bright, modern double. It has built-in shelves and cupboards with plenty of storage, and recently was repainted so it’s in tip-top shape!

We have a great, modern and clean shared living room and kitchen, which comes with all the mod cons, including a dishwasher and Chromecast for the TV. You’ll be sharing a bathroom with one flatmate.

The location is fantastic - we’re a 5-minute walk from Brixton tube, 2 minutes from Pop Brixton and Brixton Market, and 15 minutes from Brockwell Park. There are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, and other fun things to do in easy walking distance.

And you’d be living with us - Jeanne (34) and Alice (33). We like to think we’re pretty friendly and down-to-earth! Jeanne works in advertising and has helped make the flat green and full of plants! Alice works as a consultant and enjoys the gym and baking.

We like to have a good balance of hanging out together and doing our own thing, and like to have a few friends over for drinks but generally prefer to keep partying outside the flat. We’re hoping to find a flatmate for whom that also feels right. We both have a mix of going into the office and working from home. We’re looking for a professional flatmate, ideally in their late 20s to mid 30s.

Rent is £854/mo plus bills, which come to roughly £140/mo per person and includes wifi, water, gas, council tax. There is also a deposit of £843.

An added bonus is our landlord, who is very responsive and helpful.

The room is available 19th July and the new flatmate will need to begin paying rent from that date.
