Description
Are you looking for a comfortable, peaceful home-from-home during your London working week, where you can relax and recharge?
This beautiful room has large south facing floor-to-ceiling windows, with a Juliet balcony, and is a 2 minute walk from Caledonian Road underground station.
The room would suit somebody looking for a peaceful household during their London working week and is ideal for someone who enjoys a clean and organised place. The room has been newly decorated and furnished with all you need and I have based the design on a hotel room.
The room is situated on the 3rd floor of a modern building with key fob entry to the main security door, and a lift.
Facilities:
There is a double bed and a wide comfortable armchair for evening relaxation or morning coffee as you watch the world go by. You’ll have your own kitchenette with Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, microwave and mini fridge, along with cutlery, crockery and glasses.
There is a table and chair for dining or evening working and your accessories include an air purifier, clothes steamer, ionic hair dryer and several pillow options including ergonomic.
The large triple glazed floor-to-ceiling windows are covered with sheer privacy curtains and a blackout roller blind, and the direct outlook is a lively Islington street with large trees, and a grade 2 listed church building.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is next to your room and you’ll share it with the female owner. There is a bath with shower, complementary toiletries and personal towels. There are no other shared spaces in the flat.
Cleaning:
The room will be cleaned each week, with fresh towels and pure cotton bedding on your arrival. The bathroom will always be clean and tidy.
Availability:
The room is available for 3 or 4 nights a week (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu) and would best suit someone who is looking for an ongoing weekly arrangement in a comfortable home from home. You would be welcome to leave a bag of toiletries and some clothes if you’d like to.
Location:
Situated between Islington and Camden, the local area has lots of cafes and shops, as well as gyms, yoga, tennis, places of worship, libraries, theatre, car hire, beautiful parks and a city farm.
The room is within walking distance or a short bus ride away from Islington’s Upper Street, Camden Town, Holloway Road and the newly developed Kings Cross with its canal, Cole Drops Yard, Kings Place and Granary Square all offering a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars, cultural events as well as Eurostar trains running into mainland Europe.
Transport:
There are excellent bus, underground and overground train links just minutes walk away:
2 min Caledonian Road underground.
5 min Caledonian Road & Barnsbury overground.
1 min buses 91, 17, 259, 274.
3 min buses 393, 390, 153.
7 min buses 43, 263, 271.
There are also street bicycle schemes so you can always find a bike if you need one.
A bit about me, and a bit about you!:
I am a calm and friendly person, always happy to help and very respectful of individual privacy. I love art, design, yoga and TV, and enjoy my job in educational publishing, working from home for most of the week.
I am looking for a clean, respectful and independent female seeking a peaceful, personal space to rewind and refresh during their working week. Please do get in touch if this all sounds good, and I shall look forward very much to meeting you 😊
