Sunny double room in a 2-bed flat

Hi,

My name is Rania and I work at London School of Economics. I love board games, podcasts, and hiking. I'm a terrible cook but a great sous chef (so bonus points if you would like to cook together occasionally- I'm great at chopping and cleaning up). I work from home most days. If I'm not at work or home, you'll probably find me at the local pub playing board games or walking a neighbour's puppy at Myatts Field Park. I will start a PhD in the fall so my WFH days will increase.

I have lived in this building for the last 8 years and this flat 3 years. I really love the neighbourhood as it has a bit of everything; buses into central London, a cute park, close to great food options (disclaimer: this is a very biased opinion).

Flat details:
- Its sunny in the bedroom during the morning and then in the lounge during the afternoon so is really bright
- double bed, mattress, mattress cover, and 2 wardrobes with full-length mirror with still space to bring your own things. The sockets also have usb slots which I find very useful.
- dishwasher (it's small but I'm so happy that we have one) and washing machine (with dryer, although given how high energy bills are, i don't use it that much)
- Share a garden with the other flats
- private parking if you have a car and a bike shed if you have a bike
- flat is on the first floor (no elevators just in case that doesn't work for you)
- The landlords are very sweet and considerate couple which is a massive bonus

Transport/Neighbourhood:
- Camberwell has a ton of interesting food places and is close to both Brixton and Peckham. The local library is a 10 minute walk away
- close to several parks (Myatts Field Court, Ruskin Park, Kennington, Burgess)
- the closest grocery stores are a 5 minutes walk away (Tesco and TFC)
- 15-20 minutes from Oval, Denmark Hill, and Loughborough Junction
- lots of buses going everywhere

Looking for:
- Someone kind, friendly, and clean
- Someone who considers the place a home not just a place to crash or party
- works outside the home or is comfortable sharing the lounge to work if she works from home
- Is interested in occasionally hanging out after work (cooking together or watching movies) but also is independent and has her own life.
- WOC welcome (I know how tough it can be to find a place to live and want to make our home comfortable for all)

The flat is great for everyone (again, very biased) but is particularly perfect for someone working at Kings College Hospital as it's a 10 minute walk away.

My friends are sweet and wanted to write a recommendation for me as they felt my description of myself isn't how they would describe me (I feel this is becoming a bit like setting up a dating profile, but hey, moving in with someone is pretty serious haha).
