Cosy Room in Friendly Camberwell Flatshare

Hiya~ we're Humera (28) and Francesca (26), 2 besties of 8 years who met in uni and have lived in our Camberwell flat for 4 years now. We're advertising the third room in our 3-bed as our lovely friend and flatmate is moving (😭) to go and live with family 🎀

The cosy room is £691.60 PCM, furnished and available from 27th November (are you ready to get festive with us 😉🎄). We can be flexible if you need to move in sooner or later! The contract is 18 months and the deposit is £887.08 (spareroom won't let me put the actual amount in the ad). Our landlord has always been flexible with tenancy swaps so if you need a shorter stay that shouldn't be a problem. Bills (water, broadband, gas, electricity, council tax) typically come to an additional £150 each per month but can vary.

About the flat:

We're the top floor of a small block of flats with four flights of stairs. ‼️There's NO lift in the building ‼️ 😢 but you'll get very toned calves 😃 We have a separate living room and kitchen, a small balcony, a bathroom (with a bath) and separate toilet.

The flat is located in the heart of Camberwell, a 5-minute walk from King's College Hospital, 8 minutes from two supermarkets, a lovely gastropub is at our doorstep and a coffee shop right next door. We're a 20-minute walk from Brixton and Peckham. We're very well connected with great transport links to central.

You'll already know about Camberwell since it's just been crowned the fourth coolest neighbourhood in the world, according to Time Out 🫡 and we think so too! So many amazing restaurants, parks and cafes that we can't wait to visit with you 🥰

About us:

Humera's a midwife and Fran's a research assistant at a uni. We have a lot of similar interests: we love going to the theatre, book events, clubs, cabaret, and game nights. We love coffee dates, reading, kpop, binging fantasy and period TV/films, live music, kdramas, anime, craft dates, going for weekends away, and hosting a party every now and then 🥳 and we love doing new things (dance classes, drawing clubs, taste film 😋 etc.)

What we're looking for:

We're ultimately looking for someone we'll become close friends with 🩷 If you want a strict flatmate-only situation, this home isn't for you sadly!

We're looking for someone who is tidy, kind and will respect our belongings and the home we've made (as we do). We appreciate that everyone deserves their own downtime and privacy too. We have our own lives but enjoy spending time as a flat 🧚🏼‍♀️
