We have a double bedroom becoming available in our Camberwell house. The house is a very bright, spacious Victorian house on a quiet street in SE5.
Just 10 mins away from Denmark Hill and Peckham Rye (both Zone 2), and with regular buses that can get you to Oval in under 20 mins, you'll be well connected.
We’re a mixed-gender house at the moment but, after 3 years, our housemate is moving out - she's been here since day one. You’d be sharing with chilled, sociable working professionals (4 boys) in their late twenties to thirties. We love a pub trip, we're often having a movie night (all tastes welcomed) and take our Sunday roast game very seriously.
The room is available from March 21st (flexible)
- Spread over three floors, big high-ceiling living / dining room
- Fully equipped kitchen / diner with dishwasher and washer-dryer.
- Three bathrooms (two showers, three toilets)
- Big, private garden at the back with BBQ.
The room comes with a bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bedside table.
Rent is £894.40pcm, which includes council tax and Wi-Fi. Bills not included, but come to ~£50 per month.
Goes without saying that Camberwell is an amazing area. There's loads of pubs and restaurants very close by, with TOAD Bakery and Cafe Mondo a 30-second walk away from the front door, and The Grove House Tavern 5 minutes down the road where you can very often find us.
There's a Sainsbury's Local very nearby, and Bellenden Road Lidl a 10-minute walk away.
You can walk into Peckham within 10 minutes, with Ruskin Park and Burgess Park only a short 15 minute walk away.
We are looking for a sociable, chilled working professional that'll take care of the house.
No couples or students, sorry! LGBT+ friendly!
We’re into gigs, cycling, and getting out and about. We’re all active, enjoy spending time cooking together, and also like the occasional night out (clock the karaoke machine)
