Description
Our friend and third flatmate is moving out at the start of December, so we’re looking for a third person to join our flat!
ROOM
The room is a double bedroom with a built-in wardrobe, dark, and window with a (partial) view of the Thames. There is also a chest of drawers, chest, and bedside table for extra storage.
Rent: £1,100 + bills (~£150/month)
THE FLAT
The flat is a rare find in London at this price and what it offers - spread over two floors, with essentially two living rooms and a massive kitchen (even a hallway)! This is why we do not want to move out. Having this much space feels like we are not on top of each other even when we are chilling / working from home.
You’ll share a bathroom with one (m,24) flatmate. However, there is also an extra toilet that - after repairs - would be all yours. It is not an en-suite.
Includes:
• A large kitchen with storage space and a dishwasher.
• Downstairs living area with a dining table and sofa.
•Upstairs living area with a tv, couch, vinyl player.
• One bathrooms.
• Plenty of storage
• Gorgeous views over London!
• A friendly concierge (useful for deliveries)!
• A garage perfect for bike storage.
• A pool and gym, which you can reserve for private sessions at no charge.
THE AREA - TRANSPORT
Great links to Canary Wharf which is four minutes by boat which docks within seconds of the property. The property is also located within easy access of Surrey Quays and Canada Water stations.
THE AREA - AMENITIES
Amenities nearby are great - Ship and Whale Pub, Pilates and Yoga across the Dock, free membership at certain times for the Canada Water leisure centre.
We have a big tesco! The local shopping centre has some charity shops, Starbucks, and Boots.
We have a farm! Surrey Docks Farm is lovely for a quick walk in a lunch break, or even volunteer.
ABOUT US
You’d be living with Jack and Bailey. Bailey (me) works in Civil Service as a social researcher. Jack is a Finance Analyst, working in Canary Wharf. We both work in the office the majority of the time.
We are a social flat and have a lot of fun living together. This includes listening to vinyls, games, board games, tv shows. We have a few friends in London and even in Canada Water that we like to have over.
Of course, we both also have our own separate social lives and keep ourselves busy too.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Someone who is relaxed, clean, considerate, and communicative. Ideally, it would be great to be friends and not just a flatmate.
Please do not hesitate to ask questions. If you feel you are a good fit, please get in touch!
