Double bedroom in Canada Water/Surrey Quays

One of my friends is coming back to London after living in Oxford for a while and we’ve decided to move in together, so there’s a room in my current place going free.

The flat is across two floors, with six bedrooms, three downstairs and three upstairs, and a shared kitchen/dining/living. The room available is on the upper floor, facing the north and overlooking a quiet road. The kitchen/dining/living faces south and has a great view of the water over Greenland Dock. The flat has two bathrooms upstairs and a toilet downstairs, all shared.

It’ll be the end of an era moving away from my 5 lovely flatmates! The others are currently two guys and three girls. The flat has a pretty chill vibe and we hang out, usually spontaneously, and sometimes planning the odd flatmates dinner and or film here and there. One of our flatmates is around 35, the others are between 23 and 29. We’re looking for people of a similar age.

We have a fortnightly cleaning rota so everyone can do their bit to keep the flat in shape.

Bills fluctuate but are usually around £110-130 per month per person (electricity, council tax, water, TV licence). Internet is included in the rent.

There is a garage with one parking space allocated to our flat. There isn’t any purpose built cycle storage.

Move in date is subject to references passing but will be around 7 December.

Note that the photos of the bedroom above include decorations from the previous flatmate, not included in the room.

The deposit figure stated above is TBC - actual figure may be as low as £700 or as high as £922, because people moved in at different times and paid different shares towards the rent at the time. I am currently checking with the agents.
