Description
A double room in my Canary Wharf flat with sole access to a private bathroom will be available from 1st March. My current flatmate is leaving at the end of February to go traveling so the room will be available from then.
I mostly work from home so it would probably suit someone who works mainly from the office/on site although there is room in the bedroom for a small desk.
Room details:
- In Canary Wharf, so excellent transport links with Jubilee, DLR and Elizabeth line all within short walk
- A two-bed, 13th floor flat, newly built in 2022, with West facing lounge/kitchen and views of The Shard/London Eye.
- Building has 24-hr concierge and access to 27th floor gardens (more great views!)
- High Speed Internet
- Air conditioning in all rooms
- Medium sized double room with fitted wardrobe. It comes with a double ottoman bed (so more storage space!), bedside table and chest of drawers. There is room for a small desk if needed.
- Sole access to adjacent private bathroom with bath - I have an en-suite in my room.
In total bills are currently roughly:
Council Tax - £211/month
Electricity - c. £50/month (variable)
Heat Network - c. £50/month (variable)
Water - £64/month
Internet - £29/month
Total Bills: c. £404/month, which I split equally, so a 50% share is likely to be around £200/month.
Asking rent: £1,250 + bills = ~£1,450 per month.
About me:
I'm 29 and work in public affairs for a financial services firm.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling (last year I undertook a five month sabbatical around Latin America), going to gigs/music festivals and catching up on TV and movies (down for someone to watch The Traitors with!). Other hobbies in the summer include cycling and swimming. I'm also quite involved with politics which is taking up quite a bit of my time at present.
