Description
A double room with sole access to the bathroom will be available from 1st March. I've lived in the flat since 2022 and love it and the area.
I mostly work from home (usually only going into the office once every few weeks) so it would probably suit someone who works mainly from the office/on site but there is room in the bedroom for a small desk.
Room details:
- In Canary Wharf, so excellent transport links with Jubilee, DLR and Elizabeth line all within short walk
- A two-bed, 13th floor flat, newly built in 2022, with West facing lounge/kitchen and views of The Shard/London Eye.
- Building has 24-hr concierge and access to 27th floor gardens (more great views!)
- High Speed Internet
- Air conditioning in all rooms
- Medium sized double room with fitted wardrobe. It comes with a double bed, bedside table and chest of drawers. There is room for a small desk if needed.
- Sole access to adjacent private bathroom with bath - I have an ensuite in my room.
In total bills are currently roughly:
Council Tax - £211/month
Electricity - c. £50/month (variable)
Heat Network - c. £50/month (variable)
Water - £64/month
Internet - £29/month
Total Bills: c. £404/month, which is split equally, so a 50% share is likely to be around £200/month
Asking rent: £1,250 + bills = ~£1,450 per month.
About me:
I'm 29 and work in public affairs for a financial services firm. I'm also gay so would have a preference for a queer flatmate but very much open to allies. In my spare time I enjoy traveling (recently back from a five month sabbatical around Latin America) and electronic/pop music (love music festivals, going to gigs, am obsessed with Charli xcx). I'm also quite involved with politics which is taking up quite a bit of my time at present. During my down time I also enjoy cycling, swimming and video gaming from time to time.
