Bright Flat, Balcony & Own Bathroom – Canning Town

🏡 About the flat

I’m a current tenant looking for a flatmate to move into the second bedroom in our lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat in Canning Town.

The flat is spacious, bright and has a fantastic view, with a large living room and a balcony that’s perfect for having a coffee, relaxing after work or enjoying the view. The best part is that there are two bedrooms and two toilets/bathrooms, so you’ll essentially have your own bathroom and plenty of privacy (your bathroom is the one in the picture).

We also have a shared garden on the first floor, and an underground parking place available, included in the rent.

📍 Location-wise, it’s hard to beat: the flat is just a 3-minute walk from Canning Town station, with easy access to both the Jubilee line and DLR, making it really convenient for getting around London and commuting.

The area has pretty much everything you need within walking distance, including Co-op, Morrisons, Lidl, Savers and Superdrug, as well as The Gym Group and Fitness4Less. There are also plenty of brunch spots, cafés, restaurants, McDonald’s and other places to eat and grab a coffee. Canning Town is developing year by year, with more shops, restaurants and new places opening all the time, so there’s always something new around the corner.

The neighbourhood also feels safe and comfortable, and I’ve personally really enjoyed living here.

👋 A little about me

You’ll be sharing the flat with me. I’m a working professional and currently work 3 days from the office and 2 days from home.

I really value having a home that feels cosy, clean and peaceful. I’m quite house-proud and genuinely enjoy creating a nice home environment, so I’m looking for someone who is similarly clean, respectful and considerate of shared spaces.

More than anything, I’d love to find someone who is looking for a home rather than just a room. It would be great if we could get along, have the occasional dinner/drink/Netflix night or simply chat after work, while of course respecting each other’s space and privacy. Ideally, we’d become friends rather than two strangers who just happen to share a flat!
