We are looking for one lodger to share this lovely Victorian terrace house with us.
The house is located in a quiet street and is very well connected by public transport: a short (less than 5-minute) walk from Charlton Station and various bus routes. A quick bus/train ride will also get you to North Greenwich underground/the Elizabeth line in Woolwich.
I'm a live-in landlady, with 2 lodgers - one of whom has moved out, so looking for a replacement! Friendly, chilled vibes, but we’re both also often pretty busy, and like time to ourselves to switch off.
There is excellent access to shops, a range of supermarkets (Asda, Sainsbury’s, Aldi & Lidl’s) and parks - all in easy walking distance. The lodger will have their own bedroom (14 sq m) on the first floor, with shared use of a bathroom. The ground-floor will all be shared, a fully furnished and large, well equipped kitchen/diner, spacious living rooms and a great garden with a patio (maintained largely by a gardener).
The lodger must be OK with dogs - I have one friendly and well behaved dog, and also work in dog-training/dog-care, and sometimes have other dogs over for daycare. Never more than one or two extra dogs in the house. I am frequently in and out of the house for work - sometimes working from home, sometimes not; the other lodger is finishing an MA and has similar schedule!
Smoking outside in the garden is OK, but no smoking in the house.
There is on-street parking (permit controlled).
Bills and wifi are included, as well as occasional professional clean of shared spaces.
References will be requested and a lodging agreement will need to be signed.'
