The Room & House
A spacious, double room is available in a large, well-maintained Victorian semi-detached house in Charlton (Royal Borough of Greenwich). The room is peaceful and quiet.
The house offers a high standard of living, including:
• Living Space: A modern, open kitchen, dining, and living room area which overlooks the garden it also comes with a 50-inch TV and free Netflix. Landlord has his own quarters/toilet.
• Outdoor Space: Use of a very nice, fully furnished back garden and patio. Perfect for those lazy summer evenings.
• Bathroom: Shared with one other.
Our Ideal Housemate
You will be sharing with occasional live-in landlord and one female, female preferred. We are very clean and like to keep the house in good order, we appreciate a housemate who naturally does the same, so cleanliness is a deal-breaker for us.
Security is also a top priority. We are looking for someone responsible and diligent about home security (ensuring all doors and windows are properly locked and alarm is set when house is empty.

• Mainline Rail: Charlton and Woolwich stations are a 10–15 min walk (or 3 bus stops) away. Direct trains reach London Bridge in ~15 mins, with services to Cannon Street, Waterloo, and St Pancras International.
• Elizabeth Line & DLR: Rapid access via Woolwich to Canary Wharf and the City (5 mins to City Airport). Direct line to Heathrow Airport.
• Underground: A 20-minute bus ride to North Greenwich (Jubilee Line) and The O2.

We are minutes away from Maryon Wilson Park, which is well known locally for its animal park home to deer, horses, peacocks, and sheep. Charlton Park and Woolwich Common are also close by for exercise and walking. The new Woolwich waves just recently opened in January if you like to swim and use the gym.
