Calm double with private bathroom in a Victorian h

Looking for a considerate housemate to take over a bright double room with its own bathroom (bath and shower) in a semi-detached Victorian house in Childs Hill, NW2. Available from 24 November.

The house is quiet and well kept, with a shared living room, a large shared office/study with a balcony and fast wifi. It's a 15–20 minute walk to Hampstead and the Heath, with direct buses to West Hampstead, Golders Green and Cricklewood.

You'd be sharing with me, Lola. I'm in my thirties and work in branding and creative strategy, mostly from home some days and out at work or events on others. I love cooking, films, art and a good walk, but at home I value calm, clean shared spaces and mutual respect. Friendly chats in the kitchen, and plenty of space for both of us.

Ideally you're a professional who's tidy, considerate about noise and guests, and settled enough in your own routine that we can both relax at home.

Our landlord, Charles, is responsive and helpful. He's planning to sell the house around the middle of next year and will give plenty of notice, so this suits someone looking for roughly six months.
