The house is well-located on the charming Glebe Estate, a little peaceful enclave of Victorian cottages, in a quiet residential area of leafy Chiswick. Setback, only minutes from the bustling wide boulevard-like Chiswick High Road, with its lovely shops, cafes and restaurants, and 6 minutes walk from Turnham Green Tube Station Zone 2.
With good road connections, links to Heathrow and only a half hour’s journey from the West End, the area is a commuter’s paradise. It is a straight cycle on just three roads to reach Victoria which takes less than 40 minutes. A car parking permit space could be arranged, for which you would have to apply.
The local parks are some of the finest in West London, for both their outdoor spaces and as well as cultural and sporting attractions. Chiswick has restaurants and pubs aplenty for those wishing to sit by the river and enjoy the views. At low tide it is possible to walk out to the uninhabited Chiswick Eyot Island, and the stretch of the Thames Path that runs from Chiswick Mall to Kew Bridge is perfect for a quiet and relaxed stroll.
I can offer:
• A large bright double bedroom with a double bed. Includes 2 Large hanging wardrobes + other bedroom Cupboards
• Seating area, desk, and TV.
• A secluded garden.
• Shared bathroom
• Fully equipped kitchen diner, with dishwasher and
access to washing machine.
I am looking for:
• One person only (no couples)
• Someone who would be working from the office/on
site rather than at home.
The details:
• The price includes bills (internet, water, council tax,
gas, electricity).
• 7 nights per week - £950 per calendar month
• Available: 1st Feb 2026
• A deposit of 1 month would be required and will be
returned at the end of the agreement, dependent on
any damage that may have been caused.
• Photo ID. References (work & previous LL).
• Proof of income/bank statements/last 3 months pay
slips.
• I propose a 2-month trial period so both sides can
make sure it is the right fit, then we are happy to move
to a rolling month contract, with a one-month notice
period required by either side.
