Hi, I'm 31F and this studio has been my dream base in London. It's 30m² of independent living quarters just off Abbeville Village, on a quiet residential street. The thing that gets me every time is the light. There's a run of skylights and the ceiling is vaulted with exposed wooden beams, so even in winter it never feels like a dark box, which a lot of studios can. It's also just a genuinely spacious room for what it is, not a squeeze at all.

There's a king-size bed.... a proper standing desk and chair set up right under two of the skylights, which has made working from home actually enjoyable rather than something I put up with. Kitchenette with a gas hob, private shower room, and loads of built-in storage plus a freestanding wardrobe. There's also a little decked terrace just outside the door, which I've used far more than I expected to, morning coffee, evening glass of wine, that kind of thing.

On location, I don't think I need to sell Abbeville Village too hard, it's one of the best little pockets of south London, with proper independent cafés, restaurants and wine bars right on your doorstep, and Clapham Common and the tube links a short walk away. The street itself is quiet, so you get the best of both.

The only reason I'm leaving is that I'm moving into a bigger place with my boyfriend, otherwise I'd happily stay.
