Room available in light and spacious 2 bed flat

Hi i'm Katie and currently looking for somebody to replace my housemate. The room will be available from 29th January.

A little bit about me - I’m 31, have lived in the flat for 4 years and absolutely love it. I’m a civil servant, working in Westminster, in the office mostly 3 days a week. I’m fairly active, at the gym most mornings, or out for a run. Ideally looking for a housemate who can commit to a year, is clean and tidy and easy to get along with!

It is a two double bed flat on the first floor but the flat split across three levels, so is incredibly spacious and open. The lounge has large bay windows which means it is flooded with natural light and is very bright and airy. The first bedroom is located on the first floor and situated next to the bathroom, you then go up a short flight of stairs to the second bigger bedroom (which is available to rent), which is next to the lounge. You then have a final flight of stairs up from the lounge to the kitchen which is situated on a maisonette. It’s a very cool layout and the space means you are never on top of one another if living as a pair and not a couple.

The flat is located just off Battersea Rise, which is a great location and is just a ten minute walk to Clapham Junction station which has overground links to most areas. And also 15 minute walk to Clapham South, so handy for the underground too. It’s also minutes away from Northcote Road which is full of bars and restaurants. It’s a lovely, quiet street - a nice break from the craziness of London!

The room would be unfurnished however my housemate that’s moving to out is hoping to sell the furniture, so buying the bed/mattress could be an option if interested!

Bills and council tax aren’t included in the rent, varies monthly but usually b/w £100-£150 (in the winter) each pcm.
