Double room in Clapham Junction

Hi we’re Elise and Eve. Elise is 27 and works in publishing, Eve is 25 and works in the tech industry doing events.

I (Elise) have lived in this flat for the past three years and Eve has been here for a year. Our flatmate is moving in with her partner so are looking for a friendly housemate to take their room, as we love the area and want to stay close to friends.

The flat is spacious with one double bedroom available. It has a separate living room and kitchen, is two minutes from CJ station - so perfect for any commute into work - as well as a short walk from the high street, shops, pubs and bars, restaurants and nightlife.

We’re looking for a like-minded housemate who is sociable but also has their own social life and are respectful of working from home arrangements. As the available room doesn’t have a desk, we’re looking for someone who doesn’t work from home.

Elise - As a classic publishing gal I own far too many books, and I also enjoy watching netball, going to the theatre and eating korean food. Without wanting to make this seem like a hinge profile, a friend of mine said I ‘make a good roast, have mastered the crumble, but can’t handle a prosecco brunch’.

Eve - hello! I’m Eve, I’m originally from Scotland but have being living in London for the past 2 years. I moved here for work but have loved getting to discover London. My main interests are music and food - I’m a big foodie and love trying new restaurants from around the world, going to any interesting festivals/markets and also attending live music/concerts.

The communal spaces are fully furnished and the bedroom comes with the bed and mattress but is otherwise unfurnished. There is one bathroom shared by the top two bedrooms, so you’ll only share with one person. The rooms need to be filled by Oct 7th with move in being early Nov (if people aren’t confirmed by then, the landlord will put the full flat up on the market). The landlord requires a guarantor.
