Double room for rent in Clapham Junction

Our housemate is in with his gf, so we are looking for a new housemate to move in from December 1st, with potential for sooner.

We enjoy the occasional parkrun, pint and hike together so we are looking for someone who is also social but just as happy to do their own thing too.

The rent will be £919.46 plus bills taking it to around £1020 in total per month. There is also a deposit of £333.33.

The house:
We live on St John’s Hill, which is less than 10 minutes to walk to Clapham Junction station, which has direct trains into Waterloo and Victoria. A stone’s throw from the house are countless restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Wandsworth Common and Northcote Road are only a short walk away too. The house includes:
- A spacious living area with tv (we might buy a chromecast soon so can link up to Amazon, Netflix etc.
- A fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dining table, as well as plates/cutlery/pans etc.
- A small balcony area
- A bathroom with a separate bath and shower cubicle
- 3 bedrooms
- A cleaner every two weeks (£15 per person)
* bathroom has a nicer new floor now and living room and bedroom is better arranged to give more space!
Your room:
The room available to rent is slightly smaller than the other two bedrooms but you can wfh in the living room if needed.
The bedroom comes fully furnished with a double bed and mattress, a chest of drawers, and large wardrobe.

Us:
Morgan (28) is from Canada and has been in London for over a year. She moved from Toronto and loves exploring the city, going on hikes, spending time with friends. She works in marketing in central and goes into the office 2/3 days a week.
Leonardo (31) works in photography and frequently spends his time at art galleries, restaurants, running and taking/editing his photos. He occasionally travels for work and otherwise is in the office 2/3 days a week too.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a working professional who works hybrid or full time in the office/their place of work. We have a friendly and calm setup in the house when we’re home, and often relax outside on the balcony together after work or chat in the kitchen. We are social but if you want to keep yourself to yourself that’s fine too as we understand people need their own space. If we share some similar interests then that’s a bonus.

We keep the place pretty tidy between the cleaner’s visits, and all chip in when things need sorting out. We’re all very respectful of each other and our work schedules so we are looking for someone who will do the same.
