Description
I am sadly moving out of this flat and we are looking for someone to take over my room from around the 25th June.
Housemates:
You’ll be living with Tom (29, English) and Shannen (28, Irish) who are both lovely, friendly humans! Shannen has been in the flat a few years and Tom moved in earlier this year. Tom works in marketing / sales for a car wash company and Shannen works for Gousto (Discount boxes is a nice perk).
We all like to hang out in the house and watch a bit of trash TV, but they also have their own friend groups, so they are looking for someone who is similar.
They are open to anyone who is in their late 20’s, tidy, respectful, and up for a chat/the occasional Vino! ideally you don’t work from home full time.
The Flat:
Ground floor 3-bedroom flat, with a large bathroom, kitchen/dining room and separate living room. There is a small patio/courtyard that runs down the side of the flat as well which is currently getting a bit of work done to it to freshen it up! There is a cupboard in the hall for storing suitcases etc. as well.
The flat is well connected with Clapham Junction station 10-minute walk away, 5-minute walk to a huge Asda and Lidl, buses at the top of the road and Northcote Road about a 10 minute walk away which has loads of bars and bakeries/cafes.
The monthly rent comes to £930 which won’t increase for at least another year as we renewed the contract this month. The contract is managed by Dexters, but we have direct contact with the landlord for any issues which he is quite quick at sorting. We have a WhatsApp group with him which is handy!
Bills come to about £100/£120 a month depending on the season.
Deposit is £863 which will be paid direct to me once they change over contract name.
Room:
Furnished room with a built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, double bed (Landlord got a new mattress in January for this bed), storage unit. Enough space under the bed for storage too.
Room gets nice light in the mornings, and it is at the back of the property, so you can’t hear the road.
