Double Room Available - Clapham Junction

Hi! I’m Arthur, and I’m looking for someone to fill a double room in our lovely flat in Clapham Junction, as our current flatmate is moving to a different borough.

Move-in date: 30th September (some flexibility possible)
Rent: £700 per month
Bills: Approximately £100–£120 per person, per month, including internet, gas, electricity, water and council tax
Council Tax Band: E
Minimum stay: 1 year

The room

It’s a cosy double room with a double bed, new double-glazed windows, and a built-in electric heater.
There’s plenty of storage space underneath the bed, as well as space in the corridor if you’d like to add any extra furniture, racks or storage. There’s also room for a desk in the lounge if you work from home occasionally or would like a separate workspace.

About us

You’d be living with me, Arthur, and my flatmate Lola.

I’m a full-time hospitality manager and generally work Monday–Friday, 9–5. I’m usually at the gym after work or out socialising, but I also really enjoy a chilled evening at home. I love cooking and it would be nice to live with someone who’s up for sharing the occasional meal, having a chat in the kitchen or hanging out together rather than everyone disappearing into their rooms all the time.

I’m into the gym, rollerblading, eating out, music, reading, films, picnics, nights out and generally exploring London.

Lola is a teacher at a local secondary school and also works in person Monday–Friday. She loves cooking, socialising and having a chat over a cup of tea.

We both like having a home that’s clean and tidy, but also relaxed, friendly and actually feels like a home.

Who we’re looking for

We’d ideally like another professional, preferably 25+, who is clean, considerate and looking for a friendly home rather than just somewhere to sleep. Someone with similar interests and who’s happy to socialise with their flatmates from time to time would be a great fit.
