Hi, I’m moving out of my room right next to Clapham Junction (literally 2 mins from the station) to move in with friends and looking for someone to take over my tenancy from August 1st!
Rent is currently 900/month, all bills except electricity (~£60/month) are included and the tenancy runs until end of September with the possibility to extend if you wish, this would come with an increase to 950-1k (TBC). The flat is a 3-bed 1 bath and you’d be sharing with two lovely housemates, Ane and Rory. They both work outside of the house so it’s super quiet in the day and great for wfh.
The flat is located on a gated estate which comes with a concierge (dream if you get a lot of packages) and a small gym/pool facility. Room comes with the bed, desk, and massive built in wardrobe. The window is south-facing so gets super sunny and warm which is lovely!
I have been here for almost 3 years and absolutely love the area, besides being right by the station you are within walking distance to Lidl and a massive Asda (<10mins) and Northcote Road which has loads of bars and restaurants. Also super close to both Battersea Park and Wandsworth Common and about a 15 min walk to the riverside (great for running routes!). Besides trains and the overground you also have loads of bus routes right by the house with direct connections to South Ken, Brixton, Chelsea, Victoria, and even Liverpool Street.
Only thing to note is the wallpaper on one of the walls (pictured) was recently damaged but landlord is aware and looking into it!
