Double room in Clapham Junction

Queer flatmate wanted!

Hi everyone,
My flatmate is moving out on the 23rd September so we are looking to fill their room from then.

The flat is a 4 bed split level, but for the past 3 years there has been 3 of us, and we have kept the downstairs room as a office/laundry room/ spare bed for friends to stay. This has worked really well, so keen to keep this dynamic!

The room available upstairs is a furnished double, with space for a desk if you have one.

The location of the flat is a 7 min walk from Clapham Junction train station (Grant Road entrance), and around 10 mins walk to a big Asda & Lidl. The town has lots of shops and bars, but Clapham Common is also only 10 mins away on a bus- so close enough to still venture out for a bit more nightlife!

Your flatmates would be myself and my girlfriend Vanessa.

- I (Ella, they/them) am 24 and work as a user researcher- mix of office and from home.

- Vanessa (she/her) is 26, works in the entertainment industry as an executive assistant, and is usually in the office Mon-Fri.

Rent is £700 each per month, with an additional £160 approx for bills (please be aware bills are subject to change based on usage!)

You can reach the flat itself via lift, or 2 flights of stairs. In terms of accessibility, this flat is split-level and the only bathroom is upstairs.

I need to provide our landlord’s agency with your details at least 3 weeks before the move in date (preferably asap), and you will need to pass their referencing checks which are pretty straightforward. I believe the deposit is £740,

This is joining an existing contract running till end of June 2025, but we are likely to renew for another year!
