Double room to rent in Clapham Junction

I am currently living in a homely two-bed flat close to Clapham Junction where I’ve been living with my flatmate for three years. My flatmate is moving in with her boyfriend and looking for someone to move in to her room!

The room is available now, looking for someone to move in by the beginning of October. The flat is in a great location around five minutes walk from Clapham Junction station.

The room: The room available is a double for £775 per month + bills (usually £110 per month). The room is furnished with a bed, desk and wardrobe. Deposit is five weeks rent and held in a tenancy deposit scheme. There will be reference check by the agency. The first months rent will need to be paid upfront. The tenancy is on a two month rolling basis.

About me: I’m Alice, 28, I enjoy going out for dinner/drinks, yoga, and cooking. I like socialising with those I live with but also having people over and like my own down time - so looking for someone similar to move in. I tend to work from the office mainly and am fairly busy but happy to catch up/cook/share a glass of wine or head to the pub after work or during weekends.

The Flat: There’s a bathroom with bath tub and a separate WC. We have a kitchen and separate large living room great for having friends around for drinks sometimes. There’s also a small terrace area.

Local area: The flat is well connected. It’s a short walk to Clapham junction station (5 mins) with trains going into Waterloo and Victoria in under 10 mins, as well as being close to lots of bus routes. It’s close to St John’s hill and Northcote road which both have lots of options in terms of bars, restaurants and shopping. There’s also nice coffee shops, gyms and supermarkets locally.
