Spacious double room near Clapham Junction

Hi all! My current flatmate is moving out and I’m looking for a friendly professional to take his place in my top floor split level flat in Wandsworth.

You’ll be moving into a spacious double room with two wardrobes, a double bed with a memory foam mattress, and space for a desk. You’ll also have use of a big living space, plus a bathroom with shower and bath.

A selection of things to know:

Pros:
10 minute walk to Clapham Junction or Wandsworth Town stations, great local bus connections and riverboat services from Plantation Wharf Pier.

Wandsworth Common and the river are both 5 minute walks.

Great local pubs on St John’s Hill (including one with the cheapest pints in town!), also not far from Northcote Road, Clapham etc.

Sainsbury’s local is round the corner.

Living room has a TV with a sound system, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and various subscriptions (including Sky Sports).

No shared walls, rooms are separate and private.

Fast fibre optic internet connection.

Cons:

The house backs onto an active railway line between Waterloo and Reading, but rear windows are double glazed so noise is not overly disturbing.

About me, I’m a 25 year old professional working in consulting in the West End, and a Londoner born and raised. I sometimes work from home in the living room, but most of the time I’ll be in the office. I’m a sociable guy and always keen for a game of Fifa or the pub, but equally I’m respectful of personal space and will stay out of the way when needed. I’m also relatively house proud, so would be grateful for someone who’s generally clean and tidy!
