Double room in friendly Clapham junction flat

Hi we’re Eve and Laura! Eve is 26, originally from Scotland and works in events, and Laura is 25, originally from Australia and works in the public service.

We’re looking for a lovely new housemate to join our friendly flat in Clapham Junction, as our current flatmate is heading off travelling. We’ve both settled in the area and love it here, so we’re keen to stay put and find someone who’ll enjoy the space with us. We enjoy having dinner and a glass of wine together and also love a Sunday roast.

About the flat:
Spacious with a separate living room and kitchen
2 minutes from Clapham Junction station and from multiple bus stops that go into central London and other areas (perfect for commuting)
Right across the road from Asda, Lidl and Boots
Short walk to the high street, shops, pubs, restaurants and nightlife
One double bedroom available (comes with bed + mattress which has storage drawers underneath)
One shared bathroom between two bedrooms (you’ll only share with one person)

The room has a lovely view of the high street and faces East, so is beautifully sun-lit during the morning.

The communal spaces were originally unfurnished, but we’ll be buying the items originally purchased by our flat mate who is moving (sofa/tables & chairs) so would be looking for someone willing to chip in for this. If we add any more bits, we’ll always keep it budget-friendly (FB Marketplace/charity shop finds!).

About us
We’re sociable and friendly, and love having a chat, but also have our own lives and respect downtime. We enjoy having dinner together when we’re free and going out occasionally. Both of us work from home quite often, and due to the size of the room, this space is probably better for someone who doesn’t WFH regularly.
