🚉 Clapham Junction (10-minute walk): Quick, direct trains to Waterloo and Victoria.
🚇 Clapham Common tube station (25-minute walk).
🚎 Excellent local bus network.
The Financials & Availability:
RENT £1,250 PCM. ~£150 bills cover:
- Gas, Electricity, Water, High-Speed Internet, Council Tax, TV Licence, and the shared fortnightly cleaner.
- Other essentials (cleaning products, shared cupboard items, e. g. salt, oil etc.) are split evenly when purchased.
Availability: Flexible. Ideally looking for a tenant to move in between late November and mid-December, but flexibility is possible for an earlier/later move-in.
The Housemate & Living Vibe:
You will be sharing with Amber (me!). I'm a British South African teacher in my mid-thirties who has lived here for nearly 10 years and truly sees it as home.
My vibe: I'm an enthusiastic home chef, love running, cycling, volunteering, and am a member of a local run club and church. I also love a glass of wine or two (or more!) down at the local pub.
Ideal for WFH: As I'm a teacher, you will typically have the house to yourself during the day.
Shared Life: The home has a sociable, comfortable atmosphere. While there is mutual respect for individual privacy and hobbies, I’m hoping for a housemate that wants to share dinners together, enjoy morning coffees at the local shop, and occasionally watch TV or host dinner parties with me, equally I'm very quiet and value alone time too 😀
