We have two lovely rooms to let in our flat, which is quiet, homely, tidy and nicely decorated.
The flat is spread over several floors so can often appear nice and quiet even though there may be all four housemates at home.
The first bedroom is on the first floor, has a high ceiling and overlooks the garden on the ground floor. This room comes with a brand new king size bed, new large wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookshelf and desk. The walls were recently repainted and the floor replaced during the pandemic. There is a private shower room next door which is effectively only for that bedroom as all the other rooms have showers / bathrooms either ensuite or next to them.
The second bedroom is directly above this one on first floor, also SW facing too, getting lots of light. It is a bit smaller with a regular double bed, but benefits also from lots of storage and also comes with a private office with additional storage and a fold out armchair / single bed for the occasional guest. It also has its own dedicated shower room next door.
The flat also has a MASSIVE roof terrace at first floor level which is a sun trap (also SW facing) and even better than the garden.
The lounge is huge too, has high ceilings, original fireplace, and comes with TV, lots of furniture, sofas, large dining table, and so on.
The house is kept in good order and is subject to regular maintenance and upkeep. Bills are shared between occupants so one will take responsibility for council tax, another for electricity / gas, another for a cleaner who comes regularly every 1-2 weeks, and another for internet and water. The bills are low owing to the house being in Wandsworth with one of the lowest council taxes in the country (band C), and it is very thermally efficient with a separate pumped water tank so the hot water is always strong.
The two current occupants work are finance professionals so we would consider a variety of professionals, as long as you're respectful and tidy. Ideally we'd seek one or two girls to balance the two existing guys staying there who are both aged around 30 but all applicants are welcome.
