Room available in lovely 2-bed flat – Clapham Junction (from 17 November)

Hello everyone! I’m looking for someone to take my room in our bright and spacious 2-bedroom flat in Clapham Junction. Move-in date is from the 17 November. I’m only moving out because I’ve just bought a place, otherwise I’d happily stay — it’s been a great home.

About the flat:
The flat is in a fantastic location — just 10 minutes’ walk from Clapham Junction station, close to multiple bus routes, and only 2 minutes from Northcote Road, with its brilliant pubs, cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets.

It’s on a quiet road, but close to everything you need. The flat itself has:

A large private garden (perfect for BBQs or relaxing in the sun) with space to store bikes

A bright open-plan lounge and kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine

Both shower and bath

Plenty of storage space outside the bedrooms

About your future flatmate:
You’ll be living with Meg, a lovely and easy-going professional who works full-time at a school. She’s usually out during the weekdays, so if you work from home, you’ll have the place to yourself most of the day — ideal for peace and quiet.

Rent & bills:
Rent is £1,250 per month (excluding bills). Bills come to around £150 per month, which includes a fortnightly cleaner.

The practical bits:
The property is rented through a private landlady who’s genuinely great – relaxed, responsive, and quick to sort out any issues (usually within a day or two). She’s looking for a working professional and will just need standard references (previous landlord and proof of employment).
