My lovely, large double bedroom is becoming available at the end of January since I’m moving to live with my boyfriend.
About the room:
The room is so gorgeous, with a brand new king-sized mattress that I bought in September to replace the existing one, which is sooo comfy and that I have agreed with the landlady to leave behind! It comes fully furnished, with a blackout blind, 2 cute side tables, an enormous double wardrobe and a chest of drawers. It is on the second floor of a three-story house, back of the house (so not road facing!) and you would share the main bathroom with one other person.
Our landlady is also incredibly responsive and keen to resolve any issues. She’s keen for this to be a home rather than a rental and so she’s made the experience great in all honesty.
Rent is £1,150 and bills come to around £100-£120 a month depending on the time of year.
About the house:
The house has a large living room, kitchen and there’s even an off road parking spot available at no extra cost if you have a little car! It further has a little communal patio area within the gated section which you’d be free to use.
The landlady has also just replaced all the carpets in the house as well as the radiators.
It is a 5-minute walk to Clapham Junction Station and is a 10-minute walk to Northcote Road, so very well connected to trains and buses.
Housemates:
Super chilled and friendly house with two women, who leave things how they’d like to find them, but also don’t mind folding each others washing etc. if needs be! The vibe of the house is chill and social. We’ve been known to watch trash tv with a glass of wine together, or venture to the pub every so often, but generally speaking everyone leads independent lives and have quite a quiet home life, so the gals would like that to continue! They both work from the office 3-4 days a week so are looking for someone who works from the office a few days a week too.
Jenny (31), Scottish, works in Events and is into running, a good look round Zara & a few Aperols.
Pip (31), English, scientist in biology who is into spin classes, food, wine & theatre.
