Bright Double Room w/ Balcony - 10 mins to CJ!

Hi! I’m looking for a new flatmate to take the second room in my lovely 2 bed flat near Clapham Junction.

The flat has a really spacious living room, a good sized kitchen, and a south facing balcony that’s a sun trap in the summer (perfect for sitting out after work or a little summer tan!) The river is a 2 minute walk away which is ideal for walks or runs!

I’ve lived here for the past 2.5 years and it’s been a really great flat. The area feels safe and is super well connected with less than a 10 minute walk to Clapham Junction, buses right outside, Lime bike parking.

The bedroom is also south facing with large doors onto the shared balcony, so it gets lots of natural light and feels really bright. The room comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, and drawers, and there’s plenty of space for a desk if you work from home (the desk pictured could potentially be included)

A bit about me - I’m 26 and work in marketing for Deliveroo, usually working from home 2-3 days a week. Outside of work I’m into the usual things: gym, running, travelling, trying new restaurants, and seeing friends. I like going out occasionally but the flat itself isn’t a party flat. I keep the place reasonably tidy and like having a calm, comfortable home environment.

I’m looking for a professional woman in her mid/late 20s to early 30s who’s tidy, respectful, and generally easy to live with. Ideally someone settled in London with their own friends and things going on - I’d love to be friends and hang out throughout the week (watch TV, go to the pub, go for a walk etc!) but also equally happy doing our own things.

I’m very relaxed about guests/hosting, though it’s nice to keep the flat fairly calm during the week. My boyfriend sometimes stays over or I stay at his during the week as well. Overall, it’s more of a calm, homely flat than a party house, which has worked really well over the past couple of years.

Rent is currently £987.50 + bills, but will be increasing to £1187.50 starting June. The landlord has been great - very responsive and we’ve never had any issues, this is the first rent increase we've had

Move in would be April 8, but can be flexible for the right person!
