Double Room in Clapham Junction

Hello!

Our current flatmate is sadly moving out with her partner, so we’re looking for a new flatmate to join our friendly & quiet home.
The Room
A double room will be available from the beginning of May (latest move-in by 22nd May) in our 3-bedroom flat, just a 5-minute walk from Clapham Junction Station. You’ll be sharing the bathroom with just one other person, as we have 3 double rooms and 2 bathrooms. The flat also features a fully equipped kitchen and a separate living room.

The Room (Furnished)
The room includes a large three-door wardrobe with plenty of storage, two bedside tables, a chest of drawers (same colour as the bedside tables, currently kept inside the wardrobe as an organiser), and a shelving unit.
The photos show the room as it is now, but a few items belong to the current flatmate and will be taken with her (including the desk, black TV unit, and mirror). All other furniture will remain.
The bed is quite high, so there’s plenty of useful storage space underneath

Bills
Bills are not included, but they average around £96 per month per person (covering council tax, electricity, gas, water, and internet).
About You
We’re looking for a professional, non-smoker, and pet-free flatmate who’s clean, tidy, and respectful. We’d love to find someone who’s looking for a real home, not just a room. We value comfort and mutual respect, and are seeking someone we can feel at ease with – not necessarily a best friend, but someone we can trust and share the space with naturally.
About Us
We’re two professional women in our mid/late 30s. Bahar is a dentist working Monday to Friday at the hospital, and I work in the renewable energy industry with a hybrid schedule. In the evenings, we sometimes cook and watch something together, but other times we enjoy doing our own thing, like reading or just taking it easy.
We’ve lived together for a while and have become very good friends, we look after each other and value both social time and personal space. We keep the flat tidy and clean, and in our free time, we enjoy dining out, dancing, gym sessions, outdoor activities, gigs, music festivals, travelling, hiking, and cooking.
