PLEASE NOTE: MALE wanted (to keep balance in house), for a lovely double bedroom near Clapham Junction and Battersea Park.

One of our male housemates will sadly be moving out of our 4 bed house at the start of December to go travelling, leaving a double room free.

The house
---------
A very spacious terraced house, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All are good sized doubles, and the bathrooms are both modern with great showers and a bath in one.

There is a large lounge with wood floors, sofas, corner desk and large TV.

The kitchen is probably the best room in the house. All the fittings are modern and there is a table which can sit 6. It is really light thanks to the sky lights and bifold doors which open on to the garden. This is probably where we spend most of our time.

Outside there's a barbecue and a couple of deck chairs. It gets the sun pretty much all day so is a good place to chill during the summer.

The Room
--------

A good sized, south-facing double bedroom at the back of the property on the first floor. Lovely and bright, it has been a great room for the last three years.

The Area
--------
The house is really well located for Clapham Junction. You can walk it in under 10 minutes or jump on one of the many buses going past instead! From Clapham Junction you can get trains to Victoria and Waterloo, as well as the overground.

The 44, 345, 344, 319 and 49 all go from the nearest bus stop so you are within 20 mins from Sloane Sq, South Kensington, Victoria, Vauxhall, Wandsworth Town and Clapham Common.

Battersea Park is 2 minutes away and is great for jogging. There are also a load of good pubs and restaurants nearby.

The Housemates
--------------
There are 3 housemates who are currently in the house, 2 girls and a boy. We all get on really well, and happily sit round chatting / eating / drinking / watching TV, but we also all have our own friends and social groups. This makes it a really nice dynamic. Also, because the house is so big, it's easy to get some space if needed.

All 3 are professionals. Emily and Jim work in insurance and Kate works in consulting.

New Housemate

We're looking for another male (to keep the gender balance) to move in at the beginning of December (9th onwards).

Viewings can be held weekends or evenings.

Rent is 790pcm, and bills are about 100pcm but can change dependent on time of year. This includes a cleaner once a week, a virgin package, unlimited broadband, utilities, council tax etc.

Standard things like referencing will need to be done, and a charge will apply along with a contract amendment fee.
