We are two professionals looking for a new friendly, sociable housemate to join us in this terrific flat close to Clapham Junction station.

The property is a bright and airy first-floor 3-bed flat in a quiet residential street, just a few mins walk to Clapham Junction station and very vibrant Northcote Road.

The flat was extensively refurbished and redecorated June 2021 making way for all freshly painted rooms throughout, two brand new high-spec finish bathrooms, a newly decked and painted terrace as well as other improvements throughout. The property is a true delight to live in.

The space consists of a large open-plan living room and adjoining kitchen, new bathrooms (each with rainfall showers and a toilet), and a lovely outdoor terrace. Have a car? There is ample on-street permit-parking available too.

The room available is a fully-furnished double, upstairs, overlooking the back garden. The space comes furnished with a double bed (with under bed storage), mirrored double-wardrobe and 5-drawer tallboy dresser.

The flat is perfectly located to all local amenities including several supermarkets, a bustling high-street and an incredible selection of local cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars. Clapham Common, Wandsworth Common and Battersea Park are also all within easy reach on foot.

Monthly bills are included and cover the cost of gas, electricity, water, TV licence, council tax and wifi as well as any communal house supplies. Being part of Wandsworth Council you’ll also be paying some of lowest council tax fees in the country (we’re under Band D for the area).

About us: We are two professionals - one female and one male (who met right here on SpareRoom!) - one from Australia (Melbourne) who has lived in London since 2007, and the other from New Zealand who moved to London in late 2023, keen to explore European life and enjoy all that the city of London has to offer.

We enjoy most of the usual things - getting outdoors and wandering and exploring in nature whenever possible, keeping fit, being social and enjoying the food and fun on offer around London. For our 9-5, we both mostly work away from home and on-site in the workplace, although we do also work from home some of the time in the week.

We’re happy sharing with males or females, ideally professionals, who enjoy the company of flat-mates but are equally content to do their own thing.

We’re very neat, tidy and respectful of others and looking for like-minded individuals who won't mind maintaining communal spaces to a neat and tidy standard. We like to enjoy the space we live in and the company of the people sharing the space, so hopefully this sounds like your idea of a place too and somewhere you'd like to make your home as well.

The room is available from the BEGINNING OF JULY 2024 and we are keen to arrange and hold viewings asap. Evenings during the week and some weekend times will be available (weekday day times are also possible depending on availability) so please get in touch to secure a time.
