Double room in Brixton/Clapham North

Hello!

We are four girls living in a lovely house between Clapham and Brixton and are looking for a friendly housemate to fill one of the rooms. I have really loved living here over the past three years and will definitely be sad to leave this fab house!

The girls are all really friendly and sociable. When we’re not out and about, the house usually hangs out together in the evenings watching telly and go out for house dinners/drinks, but are also respectful of each other’s space. The girls are all starting to go back to the office so currently work from home some days and in the office on others.

The house is fully furnished, including a dishwasher, new washing machine and tumble dryer. It has a large living room, dining room, modern kitchen, two bathrooms with showers and has lots of storage space, including a basement. There is also a garden complete with garden furniture and BBQ which is great in summer!

The room is a lovely double bedroom and has plenty of built in wardrobe storage and space for a desk if working from home (bookcase, ladder desk, desk chair and mini bedside table not included, but there is a large white bedside table with two drawers included with the room along with the bed).

It’s about a 5-10 minute walk to Clapham North, Clapham High Street and Brixton stations making it handy for the Northern and Victoria tube lines and overground stations. There’s a huge Tesco and Lidl only a 5 minute walk away so perfect for food shopping.

Bills are roughly £80 a month (utilities, council tax, Sky TV and WiFi). The landlord has let us know that the rent will be increasing by 5% in April.

We have a private landlord who is very responsive and always gets things sorted quickly!
