Double Room in Clapham North

To rent is a good size double room with a generous amount of storage space in this 2-bed flat in Clapham North. The room is available from 27th Feb. My current flatmate is moving out to live with some of her friends.

Throughout the flat there are high ceilings which makes the flat feel very spacious. The flat comprises of a large open-plan kitchen and living room area. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge freezer, a washing machine/tumble dryer and a Nespresso coffee machine. The living room is really cosy and benefits from a large window which lets loads of natural light in. There is also free parking in the gated carpark directly outside the flat.

Room: The room will come with the bed frame and wardrobe only.

Security: There is CCTV outside of the building and the flat has an electric buzz-in system with a camera.

Bills: They are currently £130 each per month. This includes gas, electricity, water, broadband and council tax.

Flatmate: You will be sharing with myself. I am in my early 20s and looking to live with someone of a similar age. I currently work in the police service and my job involves shift work which means I am out of the flat at different times. I am also currently working in the office. I like to think I’m really sociable
and enjoy going out for food, drinks, going for walks, going to gigs and generally doing fun things. Equally, I enjoy my own time and I’m happy to chill in the flat and watch a film and cook dinner with some wine. I am looking for someone who ideally has similar interests and has their own stuff going on but is also happy to chill and go out.

Transport:

Northern line: Clapham North and Clapham Common are both a 10 min walk.

Victoria line: 355 bus to Brixton is 5 mins or 15 min walk. Alternatively, Stockwell is one tube stop from Clapham North and you can change from there.

London Overground: Clapham High Street is a 10 minute walk and is located 1 minute from Clapham North. This section of the line connects directly with Clapham Junction, Peckham, Canada Water and Shoreditch.

Buses: There are a number of bus stops close to the flat and from directlt outside you have access to the 137, 355, 417 and N137.

Local area: The flat is a great location on a residential street and with amazing access to everything Clapham has to offer. The majority of bars, pubs and coffee shops are on Clapham High Street or Clapham Old Town. Lidl is an 8 min walk and big Sainsbury’s is a 10 min walk. Clapham Common is also a 10 min walk and is perfect for a walk, run, picnic or to get drunk on in the summer. Abbeville Village is 10 min walk away and has cute cafes, restaurants and pubs.

General info: The flat is rented through Bernard Marcus but we have a private landlord Michele who is very responsive and lovely.
