We have a top floor double room available in our friendly house share.
A 5-minute walk to Clapham Common and Clapham North Underground stations and to Clapham High Street overground station.
A 3-minute walk to Clapham High Street with its abundant supply of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, hairdressers etc.
An 8-minute walk to the 220 acres of green space on Clapham Common.
A stylish interior designed 6 bedroom / 4 bathroom house over 3 storeys. Each bathroom is therefore shared between max 2 bedrooms. There is also an additional WC.
2 outside spaces offered by the garden and a 2nd-floor roof terrace.
Each luxurious room has a double bed, bedside table, desk and chair plus 1.5 meters of fitted wardrobes with hanging, drawers and a full-length mirror.
There is a large eat-in fully-fitted kitchen with 4 fridges, 4 freezers, a dishwasher, a microwave/oven and 2 further ovens, an 8-ring gas hob, granite worktops, 2 larders and loads of storage. A separate laundry cupboard houses 2 x washer dryers. The spacious lounge area with wall-hung TV has full-width patio doors opening onto the sunny rear garden.
There is also a separate living room with TV.
The house has solid wood floors throughout, gas central heating and is fully double-glazed.
The house has to be seen to appreciate that it is one of the best of its kind in Clapham!
You will be sharing with a friendly group of professionals in their late 20s/early 30s, each room being for one person. We are a social house and will often spend evenings together chatting or watching a show. In the weekends we sometimes go to events, the pub or out for dinner. As always though, we have our own things going on and respect each other’s space.
The rent is £1270 / month inclusive. The following is INCLUDED in your rent: Gas, Electricity, Council Tax, Water, TV Licence, Broad band (5G superfast fibre optic). Plus weekly cleaner.
The deposit will be one month’s rent.
Any future tenant must meet the following criteria:-
1. An incoming tenant’s NET monthly salary must equal double the monthly inclusive rent
2. A tenant must provide an employer reference and copies of payslips for the last 3 months
3. A tenant must provide a copy of a valid passport and proof of residency if required.
A new 12-month term subject to a break at 6 months can be granted.
