In Search of New Bestie in Clapham North

Dear people of Spareroom,

With heavy hearts, our darling Aussie flat mate Eliza is moving to Manchester. We are therefore in search of a new bestie, preferably female to replace her.

Key details:
• Rent - £750 (excl. bills)
• Bills - £100 approx. (we divide & conquer)
• Move In – Nov 1st or Nov 2nd (TBD)
• Deposit - up to £750
• Viewings - in October

Ideal flatmate is someone who:
• ⁠is fun (big boots to fill)
• wants to try and make this flat a home
• isn’t protective, we share a lot of things
• ⁠works from office min. 3 days a week
• is comfortable working in their room as Luke works in the living room and Joe works in his bedroom

The flat mates:
• Luke (Irish/29), been living in London nearly 5 years. Works in client services so I spend most of the day on the calls. Enjoys running, reading and white claws.
• Joe (English/26), been in this flat nearly 2 years. Works as a civil servant and enjoys playing tennis and watching footy. Preferred drink, a pint of lager.

About the flat:
It’s about 100 metres if even from Clapham North station! Landlord is lovely, she’s hands off but very much by the books and so will want to meet the new tenant in person.

It’s got all the basics with some art & plants dotted about too. We even have a balcony?!

FYI:
Eliza will be taking her Amazon FireStick, the Hoover and we need a TV License. So the incoming flat mate will be thrown into Tricount (what we use for tracking bills) for those items – approx £100 each.
