King size room available in a Clapham North flat ✨

Hi!

We're looking for someone to join our lovely flat in Clapham North from 12 September, as our flatmate Amy is moving in with her boyfriend.

A little about us...

I'm Beth, I'm 31, and I've lived in the flat for over six years. I work as an HR Manager at a law firm in the City and split my time between the office and working from home. Outside of work I love catching up with friends, making the most of the restaurants and pubs nearby, travelling, watching F1, and attempting to convince myself I'll get back into running one day!

You'll also be living with another Beth! She's 28, Australian, works as an Executive Assistant in the City and also has a hybrid working pattern. She moved into the loft conversion room last October, which is how we became affectionately known as Upstairs Beth and Downstairs Beth. Amy may be leaving, but the tradition lives on - new Beths are actively encouraged to apply!

We're a friendly, sociable household. We all have our own lives, but we also enjoy spending time together, whether that's heading out for dinner, drinks or the occasional karaoke night, or staying in with a takeaway and a good binge watch (currently rewatching The Vampire Diaries).

The flat:

The flat has four bedrooms, but only three are occupied. The fourth smallest room is kept as a spare room for guests and laundry drying, which is a real luxury in London. We're on the second floor of a small building just off Clapham High Street, a three-minute walk from Clapham North tube and close to loads of great pubs, restaurants and shops.

We have a spacious open-plan kitchen/living area, a little "balcony" (technically a fire escape, but it does the job!) and access to a shared courtyard. Our landlord and landlady are private landlords (and genuinely lovely people!) who are really responsive and great to deal with.

The room is the front room and gets loads of natural light from the large windows. It comes furnished with a king-size bed, plenty of storage and a desk, making it ideal if you work from home. You'll share the main bathroom with me, which also has additional storage space.

Who we're looking for:

We're ideally looking for another professional woman in her late 20s or early 30s who is looking for somewhere that feels like home. We're sociable and friendly but also respect each other's space - it's not a party flat, but equally not one where everyone disappears into their bedrooms.
