Double Room in a Penthouse - Clapham North

Hi! I’m looking for someone friendly, tidy and easy-going to share my flat with.

I’d ideally like to find someone with a similar lifestyle and interests, and who is open to making the flat feel like a home rather than simply sharing the same space. It would be great to occasionally have a chat, share a meal or a drink on the terrace, and hopefully become friends, while of course respecting each other’s privacy, routines and downtime.

A little about me

I’m Italian, 37, and I work in Finance. I’m usually in the office four or five days a week, so I’m out of the flat quite a lot during the working week.

I’m relaxed and easy to live with, but I also like keeping the flat clean and tidy. I enjoy tennis, going to the gym, riding my motorbike, travelling and spending time with friends.

I’ll also be away for the whole of August, so you would have the flat mostly to yourself during that month.

The flat

The flat is a penthouse located between Stockwell and Clapham North, around a five-minute walk from both the Victoria and Northern lines. It has:

- A large terrace, which is lovely during the summer
- A bright and comfortable shared living area
- One full bathroom with a bath and shower
- A second separate WC with a sink
- A third room used as a wardrobe and dressing room
- A proper home office with a standing desk, which you’re welcome to use when needed
- All bills included (inc. Netflix)

I’m also happy to be flexible with the room setup. If there is any particular furniture or something specific you would need in the bedroom, I’m happy to see what I can accommodate.

Parking

Unfortunately, there is no car parking and the flat is not eligible for residents’ parking permits.
However, if you have a motorbike, we may be able to arrange an additional pass so you can park it securely inside the building.

Who I’m hoping to find

Someone friendly, respectful and tidy who wants a comfortable and peaceful home. Ideally, you’ll be a working professional with a fairly similar routine, but the most important thing is that we get along and feel comfortable living together.

As a general guideline, I'm looking for someone with a stable income who can comfortably afford the room. Ideally, the monthly rent should be no more than around 40-50% of your net monthly income.
