Double room in friendly house in Clapham South

We’re looking for a lovely new housemate to join our friendly 3 bed house in a great location from end of October.

The Room - A furnished double room on the top floor of the house, with space for a desk if you need to WFH.

The House - It's a 3-storey house, so it feels like we have plenty of space for 3 of us (especially when WFH). We have 1 main bathroom with a bath and electric shower, plus a second loo on the ground floor, and a big shared living room with Sky TV. The kitchen has doors onto a garden with a patio area, and we also have a garage which is useful for storage. We have a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher which are all really handy for a shared house.

The Housemates - You'll be sharing with Nicole (32, works in insurance) and Sarah (33, works in the civil service). We both have our own lives in London, having lived here for a few years, but hang out while we're cooking dinner or watching TV if we're both in in the evenings (have been known to get very invested in MAFS). We're not a party house - we're pretty chilled during the week because of work, trying to get to gym classes or going out for drinks or dinner with friends, and like getting out and about over the weekends. We like to keep the house nice and tidy and make it feel like a home rather than just a house share. We both have a mix of working from home, with a couple of days in the office most weeks.

The Location - We're less than a 5 minute walk from Clapham South tube station (Northern line zone 2), and a 10-15 minute walk from Balham or Clapham Common. We're on a cul-de-sac back from the main road so it's pretty quiet, and close to M&S, Sainsburys and the Tesco superstore. We're also really close to Clapham Common park so it's really easy to get to some green space!

You - We're looking for someone similar and friendly, preferably working normal weekday hours and working from the office for some of the week.

The boring stuff - Rent is paid monthly at £720 directly to our private landlord, who is very chilled out and sorts out any problems. Bills are about £180 per month at the moment (council tax, utilities, BT Internet, Sky TV and a cleaner who comes every other week), which we sort out between us. Deposit is £790, with no agency fees.
