Hi girls,
I’m moving in with my boyfriend so giving up my gorgeous Balham room! I have lived here for 2.5 years and enjoyed every minute but it’s time for change of scenery and the next step
10 min walk to Clapham South Tube Station (Northern Line) and Tescos, Clapham Common.
8 min walk to Balham station (Southern Rail and Northern line)
Close to lots of pubs and a short walk from both Wandsworth and Clapham Common.
Close to Balham high road where you’ll find sainsburys, aldi, Waitrose, boots and plenty of brunch spots.
A large terraced house with huge kitchen and living space. The house is situation on the quiet Temperley road which is residential street with a mix of house shares and families on the road.
The house has outside space, large south facing garden with newly done decking, 2 newly refurbished bathrooms and a downstairs toilet.
The room is partly furnished and comes with a double bed and a built in wardrobe. Room for a desk for those who work from home and plenty of storage space with built in shelves.
You’ll be sharing a bathroom with 1 other person which is right outside the bedroom.
Rent for the room is 1065 excluding bills and is due the 10th of each month - bills are around £100 each (love Wandsworth cheap council tax). The current contract stands until January 2026 with opportunity to extend, though you can always replace yourself on the contract as I am doing!
The deposit is £990.
You’ll be living with 3 other girls, Charlotte, Emma and Pip, who are hybrid workers working in Law, Audit and Recruitment respectively. The house has been a group of friends prior to me moving out and to the remaining tenants would love to maintain that dynamic! We like to stay in have wine/a house disco, and also love a day out/big walk - we have been known to spend a day at Dulwich hamlet and also love a big birthday celebration. We do also have our own friends and friendship circles too and understand we’re all busy professionals with busy lives!
Happy to hold viewings next week and the remaining tenants would be keen to meet too to decide their next tenant!
