Short term let - 7-24 August

Double bedroom available in spacious 2 bedroom house, with a large kitchen/living room and massive private garden, walking distance from both Balham and Clapham South stations.

Rent includes all bills, council tax and internet.

My housemate is moving out and I’m starting renovations from 24 August, so have a few weeks gap.

About the room

The bedroom has a large east-facing window with blackout blinds. The house is also on a really quiet street so totally silent at night.

There is loads of storage in the room - an extra tall wardrobe, two large chest of drawers and additional under-bed drawers.

The bedroom has a shared bathroom, with a powerful shower and loads of storage for toiletries.

The kitchen is really spacious with a new coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and a gas hob.

The garden is massive and has brand new outdoor seating (with in built fire pit!) and an electric BBQ, which is incredible for hosting dinner parties in summer.

There’s a large adjustable standing desk downstairs, which is great if you need to work from home.

The house is in an incredible area - it's between Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common. It's literally 1 min walk from a super nice pub and about 5 mins walk from a supermarket and a nice wine shop.

It's also within walking distance from Northcote Road, Aberville Road and central Balham. There's also a few gyms and a few PT studios within walking distance.

Ideal housemate

Must be a dog lover - I live with a little cockapoo called Florence. She has a daily dog walker during the week, so mostly just sleeps/cuddles for the rest of the day!

I work pretty long hours, so you probably won't see much of me during the week. I sometimes work from home on the dining table if I'm particularly busy/lazy but normally no more than once or twice a week.

I like to keep the house tidy so normally suggest splitting the cost of a cleaner every fortnight.

I'm always up for a night out or sharing a bottle of wine in the evening. I’m a member of two run clubs so end up going to a lot of events or nights out with them. But my true love is definitely pizza and Netflix on a weekend!
